Report a fingering or note issue
The fastest way to investigate a chart problem is to identify the exact written note. Include the letter, accidental and octave number shown on the page—for example F4, B♭4 or C♯5—rather than only saying that “the F fingering is wrong.” Notes with the same letter in different octaves are different pitches and can require different fingerings. If you switched the accidental display between flats and sharps, mention the spelling you were viewing.
Tell us what kind of issue you see. It might be a covered/open main hole, the thumb hole, the register key, a named throat/side key, a left- or right-little-finger choice, the staff notation, the written-to-concert pitch label or the register name. If the diagram looks correct but the text instruction disagrees, say that explicitly; the screen is designed so both should come from the same record.
Also confirm your instrument context. The current public chart is for standard Boehm-system B♭ soprano clarinet, written E3 through C6. A fingering used on another system, bass clarinet, an extended-key instrument or a particular passage may be valid without being the same basic fingering this chart is trying to show. If you can, include the source that supports the correction and explain whether it is presented there as a basic or alternate fingering.
Report an audio or print issue
For reference-audio problems, include the selected written note and what you expected to hear. Happy Clarinet shows written pitch for the fingering lookup but plays a synthetic tone at the corresponding concert pitch, one whole step lower on B♭ clarinet. Written C4 therefore displays as C4 while the reference tone and concert label correspond to B♭3. A report is easier to reproduce if you include your browser, operating system or device and whether the sound was absent, cut off, too quiet or at an unexpected pitch.
For printing, state whether you selected US Letter or A4 in Happy Clarinet and what paper size you selected in the browser print dialog. Include scale, orientation and whether browser headers and footers were enabled. The current chart is designed for portrait output at 100% scale and spans four pages. If something is cropped, say which page and which note or legend is affected.
Screenshots are helpful for visual or print issues, but remove unrelated personal information before sharing them. The website has no file-upload form, so attachments are sent only if you choose to add them in your own email application. Do not send instrument serial numbers, account credentials, payment details, school rosters or other information that is unnecessary to reproduce the problem.
What to include
A useful report lets the problem be reproduced without a long email exchange. Start with the page URL and the written note or print page involved. Add the chart dataset version shown in the report outline when possible. State the instrument system, what you observed, what you expected instead and the evidence you are relying on. For a browser problem, include browser and device information. For a print problem, include paper size and print settings.
The copyable outline below is only a convenience. Pressing Copy report outline writes text to your device’s clipboard. It does not submit a form, create a ticket, upload the text or notify Happy Clarinet. After copying, paste the outline into your own email application and edit it so it describes the real issue. If automatic copying is blocked by your browser, the text can still be selected and copied manually.
Keep the report focused on the reference. It is useful to say that a fingering is awkward in a particular passage, but that is different from proving the basic chart is factually wrong. The Methodology page explains the current release boundary and why passage-specific trill, resonance and intonation options are not automatically added to the basic dataset. If your question is about permission to reuse a printable rather than a data error, say that clearly so it is not mistaken for a correction request.

Contact by email
The current public contact address is hello@yangweiwei.dev. Clicking the address opens the default mail application configured on your device. Happy Clarinet does not run a contact-form backend, does not display a fake “message sent” confirmation and does not promise a particular response time. If a mail link does not open, copy the address and use it directly from your preferred email service.
You can use this address for chart corrections, accessibility or browser problems, privacy questions and requests about printable permissions. Put the topic in the subject line and keep correction details in the body. If you are following up on an earlier report, include enough of the earlier subject or context to identify it without resending unrelated personal data.
Email necessarily reveals the sender address and any information you choose to put in the message to the email services involved. The current website does not publish the mailbox provider or a fixed retention period because those operational details have not yet been confirmed as public policy. The Privacy page explains the distinction between data handled by the static website itself and data you voluntarily send by email. Do not send passwords, financial information, children’s names or sensitive information that is not necessary for the request.
